Method

A tool must link to an official product page before it is counted as source-backed. Job impact is assessed at the task level rather than inferred from product marketing.

Known limits

  • A product capability is not the same as measured labor displacement.
  • Threat scores and user counts become stale quickly and require dated evidence.
Revision policy

Corrections are part of the record.

Source pages change, announcements are revised, and duplicate reports happen. We preserve source dates, re-run quality checks, and correct public records when stronger evidence becomes available.

Submit a correction
